A rare and fine Longines Calatrava, reference 5356.
Solid stainless steel snap back case, 35mm diameter, downturned lugs. Case maintains the original finish and has not been polished.
Original brushed silver dial with copper foil arabic numerals, copper foil plots inbetween, in excellent condition. Printed "Longines" logo below 12 o'clock. Recessed sub-seconds dial above 6 o'clock.
Original copper toned feuille hands.
Original unsigned steel crown.
Longines Caliber 12.68 Z manual winding movement, serviced and in running order.
Brand New Swedish Leather band with chrome buckle.
Accompanied by Longines "Extract From The Archives", confirming delivery to the company Bensadon & Cie, which at that time was the Longines agent in Morocco.
