Longines Calatrava ref. 7234-2, in stainless steel
A rare and fine Longines Calatrava, reference 7234-2.
Stainless steel notched twist back case, waterproof, 34mm diameter, downturned faceted lugs. Case maintains the original finish and has not been polished.
Original brushed silver "starburst" dial with applied silver batons, luminous plots to quarters, in excellent condition. Printed "Longines" with applied silver winged-hourglass logo below 12 o'clock. Silver framed date window at 3 o'clock.
Original gold toned dauphine hands with luminous infill.
Original signed Longines steel crown.
Longines Caliber 261 manual winding movement, unserviced and in running order.
Brand new genuine Leather band with chrome buckle
Accopanied by Longines "Extract From The Archives" confirming delivery to Fakhroo in 1963. Research indicates that Fakhroo was the Longines Agent for Bahrain at that time.
